Scouting the Wolves:
• Newberry (1-6, 0-3 South Atlantic Conference) is coming off a narrow home defeat against Limestone on Wednesday, 67-63.

Drake Downs continued his impressive play against the Saints, scoring 17 points on 6-of-11 shooting with five made free throws.
•
Devario Sheppard added 13 points and six rebounds for the Wolves.
• After making 9 of 11 free throws (81.8%), Newberry now sits second in the South Atlantic Conference in free-throw percentage (75.8%).
Scouting the Pioneers:
• Tusculum (3-5, 1-2 South Atlantic Conference) has lost four of its last five games, including an 83-73 setback at home against Carson-Newman Wednesday night.
• Bryce Jackson was the Pioneers' leading scorer against the Eagles, scoring 24 points and grabbing seven rebounds.
• Gemari Marshall contributed 18 points for Tusculum.
• Defensively, the Pioneers allow 81 points per game which is fifth worst in the conference. They also let up the second most rebounds per game (38.9) – two areas of opportunity for the Wolves.
