NEWBERRY – Fresh off an 83-76 victory over Francis Marion Wednesday, the Newberry College men's basketball team faces its first South Atlantic Conference foe of the season tomorrow (Dec. 2) in the form of No. 15/22 Lincoln Memorial. The game, which is on the road, is scheduled for a 4 p.m. tipoff.

Scouting the Wolves:
• Last time out against the Patriots, four different Wolves recorded season-high point totals:
Jalen Johnson (17),
James Lovorn (17),
Malik Joseph (14) and
Devario Sheppard (14).

Caleb Byrd (11 points) also registered double-figures, giving Newberry five such players for the game.
• The team recorded a season-best six blocks, and the Newberry bench outscored the visiting bench by a 15-point margin, 28-13.
• The Wolves made 18 of 20 free throws against FMU to raise their team percentage to 74% -- good for fifth in the SAC.
Scouting the Railsplitters:
• LMU sits at 5-2 in the early portion of the season and currently rides a two-game winning streak after beating Winston-Salem State 75-70 at home Wednesday.
• Me'Kell Burries, who leads the Railsplitters with 17.1 points per game, finished with 14 against the Rams with four 3-pointers.
• Osmar Garcia-Araujo also had 14 points on 7-of-11 shooting.
• Martez Brown grabbed 20 rebounds in the game and leads Lincoln Memorial – and the conference – with 11.4 boards per game.
