NEWBERRY, S.C. - Men's wrestling claims their first dual meet victory of the season tonight, defeating Montevallo 31-14. Seven wolves claimed victory in the match.

• The wolves took victory in the 125, 141, 149, 157, 174, 197 and 285 Ib classes. As a team, the wolves dominated in take downs, producing 17 compared to the falcons 5.
• In nearfalls (4), the wolves out did the visitors 5-1 and in nearfalls (2) 2-0.
• The wolves had a staggering 3 tech falls, one of which came in at 1:15 from 149 Ib wrestler Devan Moore.
• 141's Zach Harrington, 197's John Parker, 149's Devan Moore and 285's Devon Rice held their opponents to 0 points.
• Grad. student Devon Rice was the lone wolf to produce a pin.
