PEMBROKE, N.C.- The Wolves women's basketball team lost on the road to the Braves of UNC Pembroke this evening 62-51.
The Wolves trailed the Braves in the first quarter then came out hot in the second quarter. Nadia Burns helped put the Wolves in the lead with a jump shot to make the score 22-21 with 2:41 to go in the first half. Caylin Moment finished the second quarter with a layup to extend the Wolves lead 27-23 going into the half.
Moment led the bench with her season high of 10 points where the Wolves bench outscored the Braves bench 18-12. April Rummery-Lamb led the Wolves with 14 points and six rebounds. Peyton Cronen was the third Wolf in double figures with 10 points on the evening.
