PREVIEW: Wrestling travels to King University

BRISTOL, Tenn. - Men's wrestling travel to Bristol Tennessee tomorrow where they'll compete in a dual match against King University on Friday, Nov. 17 and then an open match on Saturday, Nov. 18.

Scouting the Wolves
  • The wolves are 2-0 on the season, winning by a monstrous margin in both bouts.
  • Out of the 20 individual matches this season, the wolves have won 16 of them.
  • The wolves have produced four falls and four tech. falls while only allowing two falls and one tech. fall.
Scouting the Tornadoes
  • King is 1-1 on the season, upsetting #18 ranked Belmont Abbey (BAC) 23-22, and losing to un-ranked Mount Olive, 17-23.
  • King produced two pins against BAC and won by tiebreaker criteria #3, in which king produced more points their opponnent not by pin (6).
  • UMO was only able to produce one pin and one tech. fall against King, on the other side, King was only able to gain points via two major decisions, one decisions and a forfeit.
