ROCK HILL - The South Atlantic Conference football major awards and all-conference selections were released today.  
Senior Blake Arnoult earned All-SAC honors as a Long Snapper. Arnoult, who was named preseason All-American by the College Football Network had multiple tackles on punt coverage for the Wolves.
Sophomore running back Dwayne Wright, and graduate offensive lineman Kody Varn earned All-Piedmont Offense honors. Wright led the Wolves on the season with 189 carries for 823 yards and eight touchdowns on the season. Wright was a difficult back to bring down, averaging 4.7 yards per carry. Varn was a key piece of an offensive line that paved way for a rushing attack that had 2,297 yards on the ground this season.
Senior defensive lineman Devante Gambrell and linebacker AJ Valentine earned All-Piedmont defensive honors. Gambrell was a big presence up front on a defensive line that allowed 139 rushing yards per game. Gambrell had 34 total tackles, 1.5 TFLs, and 1.5 Sacks for a 16-yard loss on the season. Valentine led the wolves defense with 64 total tackles on the season. This is the second straight season that Gambrell and Valentine have earned all-conference honors.
