Wolves Volleyball set for Midweek Conference Match at Lenoir-Rhyne

HICKORY, N.C.- The Wolves volleyball team will travel north to seek revenge on the Bears of Lenoir-Rhyne University this evening at 6:00 p.m. 
In the last meeting between the Wolves and Bears, Lenoir-Rhyne won 3-0 on September 12, in Eleazer Arena 
 
Scouting the Wolves 
  • The Wolves travel to Hickory 4-11 overall, and 3-4 in SAC.  
  • The pack has a two-game win streak and is looking to keep it going.  
  • Samantha Shaffer leads the team offensively with 147 kills.  
  • Kannyn Boyd leads the Wolves defensively with 192 digs. 
  • Freshman Anna Schneider was named the Athletic Department's female athlete of the week after having 25 kills in two matches last week.  
Scouting the Bears 
  • The Bears enter tomorrow's match 11-5 overall, and 5-1 in SAC.  
  • Wingate swept the Bears last Tuesday, giving the Bears a two-game losing streak.  
 
Up Next 
The Wolves will be back in Eleazer Arena to take on the Trojans of Anderson University next Tuesday at 6:00 p.m.
