TEMPE, ARIZ. – The Newberry College women's triathlon team has five members who have qualified for the NCAA National Championship meet on Saturday November 11
th on the Tempe Town Lake course. This will mark the first time in program history that Newberry will have a team at the National Championships in Women's Triathlon.

Becca Hartrick,
Cassi Murphy,
Abbie Stackis, and
Josephine Langtry will be participating in a race starting at 2:00 p.m. (est). The Wolves finished fifth in the East Regional Qualifier last weekend in Lake Anna, Va., with all five placing personal bests in 750 swim, 20k bike, and 5k run.
The race is split into two heats with the three NCAA Divisions competing against each other.
Placements are based on team and individual points earned throughout the season.
All five women will be competing in Heat 2 which will begin at 12:00PM MT.
It will be the first time that Newberry College will be competing as a complete team.
