Newberry, S.C. - The Newberry College men's basketball team (10-10, 10-8 SAC) will be looking to get back above .500 when they travel to take on the Anderson Trojans (10-13, 7-12 SAC) on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
Newberry will be looking to bounce back from a tough loss against Tusculum while the Trojans are coming off of a pair of close losses to Lincoln Memorial and UVA Wise by a combined eight points.
Anderson has averaged 75.9 points per game, boasting three of the top 11 scorers in the South Atlantic Conference including Crosby James II who comes in averaging the third most points per game in the SAC (17.9). While the Trojans were still able to put up 71 points against the Wolves in their last meeting, Newberry's bench unit was able to propel them to a victory, outscoring Anderson's reserves 29-8. The Wolves were also able to take advantage of an Anderson defense that has given up 81.3 points per game which ranks tenth in the SAC.

The Wolves will return to the friendly confines of Eleazer Arena on Saturday when they host the Railsplitters of Lincoln Memorial with tipoff scheduled for 4 p.m.
