Scouting the Indians: With a record of 5-3, Catawba comes into tomorrow's matchup kicking off their SAC season with a 74-71 victory over Coker University, led by senior Adrian Scarborough who had a game high 20 points for the Indians. Junior Javeon Jones leads the Indians, averaging almost 16 points per game, with Scarborough leading the way on the glass averaging 7.7 rebounds per game.
 
Scouting the Wolves: Currently riding a seven-game win streak, the Wolves started off SAC play with a 62-53 victory over Anderson University Wednesday night. Senior QuanDaveon McCollum (Clio, S.C.) is coming off an impressive 20-point performance, while also leading the Wolves collecting 14 rebounds. Senior TJ Brown (Columbia, S.C.) and junior Andrew Robinson (Lexington, S.C.) have been hot for the Wolves from behind the arch, having 10 three-pointers each.
 
Promotion: The Newberry College basketball teams are hosting their annual holiday celebration game against Catawba on Dec. 10. Fans can bring an unwrapped toy and receive free admission to the games. Gifts will be sent to the Newberry Observer to support the Newberry Sheriff's Office Operation Santa Claus. The Wolves are also expecting a very special guest you won't want to miss at halftime of the men's game. Fans are encouraged to wear their festive Christmas and holiday sweaters to the games.
