Newberry, S.C. - The Newberry College men's basketball team (8-7, 8-5 SAC) are set to host the Cavaliers of UVA Wise (1-14, 0-12 SAC) in Eleazer Arena on Saturday with tip-off scheduled for 4 p.m. The Wolves will be looking to complete a season sweep of the Cavaliers. 

The Wolves are coming off back-to-back wins, including a victory at Limestone on Wednesday that saw Newberry get hot from distance, shooting 57.9% from three-point range. 

While nobody sticks out for the Cavalier statistically, they run a balanced attack with four players averaging over double-digit scoring and seven players averaging at least 8.5 points per game.  

The Wolves are 4-0 against the Cavaliers in the brief history of a matchup dating back to 2019 with the most recent game being a 79-58 victory for Newberry earlier this season.
