Newberry, S.C. - The Newberry College Wolves (7-7, 7-5 SAC) are set to travel to Gaffney, S.C. to take on the Limestone Saints (6-7, 4-6 SAC) on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. The Wolves are coming off an 83-63 victory at Catawba that saw four players reach double figures while the Saints recently suffered a 107-72 loss at the hands of Lincoln Memorial.
Historically, the Wolves are 35-25 against the Saints with their most recent matchup being a narrow 59-62 loss in Eleazer Arena on Nov. 20. However, both teams are only 1-1 against each other as South Atlantic Conference foes.
The Saints are led by leading scorer Ayo Dada who is averaging 17.1 points per game and has scored double-digits in all but two games this season. Meanwhile, the Wolves are led by their own trio of star power in QuanDaveon McCollum, Marcus Ford, and TJ Brown, all of whom average double-digit scoring.
