Rosie Harfield went 2-0 overall, only losing one point all day as the Wolves bested the Coker Cobras 7-0 on Saturday afternoon.
In doubles play, Newberry won each match by a 6-1 score. Harfield and sophomore
Rebecca Gibbons won at third doubles, junior
Judit Gonzalez Agud and senior
Elisa Aguirre won at first doubles and junior
Amy Griffiths and junior
Lucy Spice won at second doubles.
Gonzalez Agud won 6-2, 6-0 at first singles, Aguirre won 6-0, 6-2 at second singles, and Griffiths won 6-0, 6-2 at third singles. Spice won 6-3, 6-2 at fourth singles and Harfield won 8-0 at sixth singles. Gibbons needed three sets to take down her opponent at fifth singles, 7-5, 4-6, 6-1.
