Mount Olive, NC - Mount Olive defeated Newberry 16-9 Saturday afternoon in men's lacrosse action.  

Both teams would battle back and forth through the first half, with Mount Olive leading 8-7 at the half.  TJ Pratt would score at the 9:10 mark to tie the game.  However, the Trojans would score four straight goals to take a 13-8 lead.  Neil Swingruber would score at the 5:57 mark, but Mount Olive would shut down the Wolves for the rest of the game.  

Zachary Sutherland led the Wolves with three goals, while Swingruber added two goals.  Scott Reed added a goal and an assist, and Pratt and Luke Evans each had one goal.
