Allman led the Newberry offense going 1-3 with a double and run scored.  Ian Clements and Dalton Lansdowne each had a single for the Wolves.  Alejandro Sanchez (1-1) took the loss, allowing one run on one hit and struck out one in one inning of work.

Game Two
The Wolf offense came out on fire in the first inning.  Zane Tarrance would reach on an infield single and then advance to third on a single by Butler.  Tarrance would then score on a wild pitch to give Newberry the 1-0 lead.  Aidan Baur would draw a walk, and later in the inning, Luke Orr would blast a three-run home run to make it 4-0.

The Sharks would score a run in the bottom of the third to cut the lead to three.  The Wolves would answer in the top of the fourth, with a leadoff double by Orr, who would later score on a double by Lansdowne to make it 5-1.  Nova would score another run in the fifth to make it 5-2.  In the top of the seventh, Lansdowne would lead off with a single and then advance to third base on a  double by Allman.  A sacrifice fly by Tarrance would give Newberry an insurance run.  In the bottom of the seventh, the Sharks would score two runs to make it a 6-5 game, but Josh Stempihar would get a ground out to end the game and earn the save.
