- Tusculum is one of 13 Division II teams that has yet to record a sack in 2019 and has 13 tackles for loss this season. Newberry has five sacks and 22 tackles for loss (3.0 and 7.0, respectively, by Jordon), through three games.
- A 40-yard field goal by Shea Rodgers with 2:55 left in the first quarter against Lenoir-Rhyne represented Newberry's first first-quarter points of the season.
