ROCK HILL – Newberry's women's track and field team wrapped up the 2018-19 season at the Winthrop Twilight meet.

On the Track:
Freshman Tahleebah Martin wrapped up her season with a fourth-place finish in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:06.43.

Elka Variste posted a fourth-place finish as well in the 100m with a time of 12.73.

Martin and Variste were joined by Jalyn Dockery and D'Arion Johnston as all four competed in the 4 x 100m relay as the squad would finish third overall in the event with a time of 48.06.

In the Field:
Johnston would wrap up her strong sophomore campaign with a second-place finish in the triple jump, posting a mark of 11.23 meters.
