GAFFNEY – The Newberry women's tennis team was able to defeat Limestone 4-1 Monday afternoon at the Emmie Evans Rector Tennis Center.
The Wolves (10-2) lone doubles win came as
Lucy Spice and
Frederike Klein were able to edge past Felicitas Picinini and Alexandra Dolfi 7-5.
Aguirre continued here strong season, defeating Aholu 6-3 and was able to get the second set win in a hard fought match, winning 7-5. Klein defeated Haus 6-2, 6-4. Newberry was able to wrap up the match as Spice defeated Picinini 6-3, 6-1 to close out the day
