Box Score TIGERVILLE- The Newberry women's tennis team kept the momentum going on Saturday afternoon, picking up two wins over Spartanburg Methodist College and North Greenville University. The Wolves have now won eight consecutive matches.

The Wolves were able to take down Spartanburg Methodist 6-0 on the day. Doubles play sparked the Wolves for the rest of the day as Lucia Davilla and Rebecca Gibbons got off to a good start by defeating their opponents 8-0. Madison Conwell and Meredith Ware followed in their footsteps, dominating their opponents with the same result. The Wolves kept the ball rolling into singles play as they swept their opponents.

Newberry found similar success against North Greenville University as they won 6-1. Davilla and Gibbons repeated their scheme, followed by Amy Griffiths and Lucy Spice defeating their opponent 6-0 as well. The Wolves faced some tough matches in singles but were able to come out on the better end as only one match was forced into a third set.
