WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Newberry traveled to play No. 9 Palm Beach Atlantic, falling to Sailfish by a score of 8-0 on Friday evening at the Rinker Athletic Campus.

The ninth-ranked team in Division II men's soccer took the lead in the fourth minute and never looked back, going up by a five-goal margin before the half and adding three more tallies after the intermission.

Newberry had seven shots on the night but couldn't manage to find the back of the net against a Sailfish defense that hasn't allowed a goal since November 12th of last year. Forward
Daniel Reyes led the way with two shots on the night, including a close shot on goal that was saved by the Palm Beach Atlantic goalkeeper.

The Wolves continue their road trip with a 1 p.m. matchup against Florida Southern on Sunday. The Wolves return home to the Smith Road Complex on Saturday, September 15th for a 4 p.m. matchup against South Atlantic Conference foe Carson-Newman.
