Game information for Saturday at Western Carolina

Wolves begin season with SoCon opponent for second straight year

NEWBERRY – Ticket, parking, and broadcast information for Saturday's 2018 season opener at Division I Football Championship Subdivision foe Western Carolina have been released.
 
Tickets
Fans wishing to buy tickets can contact Mike Hold to purchase seats in the visitors' section, located in Section F on the East side of E.J. Whitmire Stadium behind the Newberry sideline. Call (803) 321-5247 to purchase tickets, which cost $20 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under.
 
Wear Scarlet
All fans are encouraged to wear SCARLET to Cullowhee on Saturday. Western Carolina has designated the game a White Out, asking all Catamounts' fans to wear white and wearing white jerseys and pants. Newberry will counter with an all-scarlet look.
 
Postgame Events
After the game ends, Western Carolina's Pride of the Mountains Marching Band will perform a routine. Fans will then be treated to a fireworks extravaganza.
 
Parking
All gameday parking at Western Carolina is free. Visiting fans are encouraged to park in the baseball lots (8A and 8B on this map), which are first come, first served. Western Carolina operates a free shuttle from its Health and Human Sciences lot with a dropoff location near the most convenient entrance to the visiting fan section of E.J Whitmire Stadium. The shuttle route is visible in orange here.
 
Video Broadcast
Saturday's game will be exclusively broadcasted on ESPN+, a new subscription service from ESPN, and will not be on free networks such as ESPN3. An ESPN+ subscription costs $4.99 per month or $49.99 per year. Fans without an ESPN+ subscription can sign up for a 30-day free trial or sign up for the ESPN+ service to watch the game.
