The Wolves have never lost in Gaffney and are looking to even their record in the SAC.

- Newberry opponents are 14 for their last 71 on third downs dating back to the fourth quarter at Florida Tech, a conversion rate of 19.7 percent.
- Newberry's defense has held its five non-Division I opponents this season to an average of 105 yards below their total offensive output entering their game with the Wolves. The Wolves' defense has given up over 300 yards just once since the opening weekend.
- Jamarcus Henderson ranks second in Division II and third across all NCAA divisions with 55 career tackles for loss and will break into the top 25 in Division II history with four more. His 271 career yards from tackles for loss are second and Division II and fourth in the NCAA, while his 26.5 sacks rank fourth in Division II. Shea Rodgers has the third-highest career field goal percentage in Division II (.826 - 19-for-23).
- Joe Blue's 10.7 tackles per game lead the South Atlantic Conference and rank 16th nationally. His 23 tackles for loss are 10th in school history, his 263 career stops are 10 shy of 10th, and his 20 tackles at Western Carolina are the second-most of any Division II player in 2018.
- Austin Barnes surpassed the 1,000-yard mark for his career in the third quarter at Tusculum.
- David Vereen's two breakups at Tusculum give him 11 passes defended, tied for seventh-most in a single season by a Newberry player since becoming an official statistic in 2000.
- The Wolves scored 70 points in a win over Limestone during the Saints' second-ever football game, the most points ever scored by Newberry in an intercollegiate contest.
- Newberry's 0 points and 192 yards of total offense represented program lows since Newberry, then ranked No. 9, managed just 97 yards in a 10-0 defeat at Presbyterian on Nov. 11, 2006. The shutout was Newberry's first in 128 games, a span of 4,354 days.
- Limestone has allowed 51, 52, and 63 points in consecutive weeks to Mars Hill, Carson-Newman, and Lenoir-Rhyne. The Saints have given up 468 and 496 yards rushing in consecutive weeks, the seventh- and third-highest single-game totals in Division II this season.
