Newberry looks for season sweep of Coker

NEWBERRY – The Newberry women's basketball team will look for the season sweep of the Cobras on Saturday afternoon in Hartsville. The Wolves will also be in a quest for their six straight win.

COKER STORYLINES

Coker is coming off an 83-51 win vs. Mars Hill on Saturday..

The Cobras have just three wins in their last 10 games since losing to Newberry on Jan. 11.

Coker is fighting with three other teams for the final spot in the SAC Tournament.

Junior forward Iresha Cooper leads the Cobras averaging 12.2 ppg, and 6.6 rpg. No other Cobra is averaging double figures.

Coker is third in the South Atlantic Conference in opponents’ three-point percentage which sits at an even 30 percent.
