- Newberry was picked to finish fifth in the SAC Preseason Poll.
- Nicola Handreck reached 1,000 career points on Friday, Nov. 10th against Limestone in the Conference Carolinas-SAC Showdown.
- Meg Essex needs 70 more blocks this season to tie recent Newberry Hall of Fame inductee, Tiffany Johnson at 225.
- Essex has two double-doubles on the season to equal five on her career.
- If Handreck drains 25 more 3-pointers she will tie Helen McKinney at 207.
- Head Coach Sean Page needs 35 more wins to reach 200 at Newberry.
- Shelby Britten hasn't scored less than 15 points in any game so far.
KING STORYLINES
- King competes in the Conference Carolinas.
- Won their first Conference Carolinas Tournament last season, defeating #22 Limestone College to earn their first NCAA Tournament berth.
