Wolves travel to Jefferson City to face Lady Eagles for second time this season

NEWBERRY – The Newberry women's basketball team will look to avenge their earlier loss this season to Carson-Newman as they travel to Jefferson City to take on the Lady Eagles.

CARSON-NEWMAN STORYLINES

Carson-Newman is coming off a 83-66 win vs. Anderson on Wednesday.

The Lady Eagles have won 9 of their last 12 games.

Sophomore guard Mika Wester leads the Lady Eagles averaging 18.3 points per game. Wester is averaging 48.6 percent from the field.

Carson-Newman ranks first in the SAC in points per gameat 81.9, field goal percentage with 44.4, and assists per game with 17.9.

The Lady Eagles hold a worse record at home than on the road. 5-3 at home, 5-1 on the road.
