NEWBERRY – The Newberry women’s tennis team wrapped up fall action Friday against Emmanuel with a 7-2 victory. Newberry moves to 4-0 on the season.

Newberry swept doubles action as the Wolves won all three flights. Marta Gomar and Amanda Carrillo won 8-7 at No. 1. Lucia Davia and Elizabeth Williamson were 8-4 winners at No. 2, while Rebecca Martinez and Kelly McManus defeated their opponent 8-4 at No. 3.

The Wolves won four of six singles flights on the afternoon. Williamson won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 3, while Devila won 6-7, 6-4, 10-3 at the No. 4 position. Martinez and McManus both secured 6-1. 6-1 decisions for Newberry to round out the victory.
