Greenville, Tenn. – Newberry College (6-3 overall, 2-2 SAC) falls to Tusculum three sets to two.

The Wolves were led by Logan Hayward with 14 kills on 56 attempts giving her a .143 hitting percentage. Freshman Maggie Marsh led the team in assists with 42 while adding 9 digs on the night. Alexus Horton added 12 kills on 32 attempts giving her a .219 hitting percentage. Kensley Jordan came in off the bench to add to her dig total with 26 tonight.  

As a team the Wolves had 50 kills on 165 attempts giving the team a .176 hitting percentage. Newberry had 86 digs on the night while tallying 8 block assists.

The Wolves will host SAC rival Anderson Tuesday September 22 at 7 P.M.

Tusculum was led by Rachel Garnett in kills with 16 on 41 attempts giving her a .195 hitting percentage while Melissa Mazur led the team in digs with 32. Danae Stauffer added two block assists on the night.

As a team, Tusculum had 59 kills on 189 attempts giving the team a .183 hitting percentage. Tusculum had 86 digs on the night while adding 10 service aces.
