NEWBERRY - The Newberry College men’s soccer team hosts the Lions of Mars Hill University for a conference match on Saturday, October 24, starting at 3:00 p.m. Before the game Newberry will honor four seniors: Jalin Butler, Lucas Ferreira, Bennett Murphy, and Mario Stojkoski.

• The team fell to Brevard College, 3-1, this past Wednesday. Davis Bryan scored the lone goal for the Wolves while Brad Dixon made six saves in goal.
• Bryan leads the team offensively with seven points (three goals, one assist).
• Dixon has made 59 saves for the season for a 2.34 Goals Against Average.

MARS HILL NOTES

• Mars Hill recently defeated Lincoln- Memorial, 1-0. Stian Sanner scored the lone goal for the Lions.
• The Lions are led by Connor Talbot making 39 saves in goal for a 1.56 Goals Against Average.
• Amine Merdjett leads the team offensively by scoring four goal for Mars Hill.
