Box Score HARROGATE, Tenn. - Freshman Amanda Soper hit .533 with nine kills in the match but it wasn't enough for the Wolves as the squad fell 3-0 (29-27, 25-21, 25-19) at Lincoln Memorial on Friday evening.
Newberry (11-12, 4-9 SAC) lost a tough first set and was unable to recover after that point.

Another Schultz kill put Newberry up 26-25 but a Jennifer Drumm blast fought off the second set point. One of Soper's (Simi Valley, Calif.) nine kills gave Newberry its third set point but LMU scored three straight points and took the set on Fowler's ace.
The Wolves were able to stay close early in set two but the Railsplitters took over with a 5-1 run that put the Wolves down six points. A Parrish kill got the Wolves within two points at 23-21 but a kill and a Newberry error gave LMU the set.
The third set was close early. Kills by Lauren Prachar (Fort Wayne, Ind.) and Parrish put the Wolves within one at 10-9, but LMU answered with a 6-1 run to take command of the set.
Parrish finished with a team high 10 kills while Lindsey Hollingsworth (Charleston, S.C.) and Prachar each finished with nine digs.
