QUOTES
Newberry head coach Jason Brink:
On the Seniors of 2008:
"I didnt realize how hard it was going to be to see my seniors walk off the court. The last four years we've won more games than the previous 12 years combined. I'm really thankful they came to Newberry when, in reality, there was no good reason for them to.
"They took a leap of faith to come to Newberry, and they made all the difference in the world."
About Newberry's 11-2 run to close out the first half:
"I thought the momentum shifted at halftime, but we couldn't carry it over into the second half."
