HARROGATE, Tenn. - The Newberry College volleyball team dropped its third consecutive South Atlantic Conference match in four games to Lincoln Memorial University, 24-30, 31-29, 30-27, 31-29. The loss drops Newberry to 10-4 overall and 2-4 in the SAC.

Priscila Sales (Belo Horizonte, Brazil) led the Lady Indians with 20 kills. It was the junior's third 20-plus kill performance in the last 10 days.

Laurie Barman (Madison, Wisc.) added 16 kills and three blocks, while Lorena Maia (Belo Horizonte, Brazil) had 11 kills.

Nadia Andrade (Belo Horizonte, Brazil) had 20 digs defensively, while Fernanda Frey had 17 digs and nine kills. Maia led both sides with seven service aces.

The Lady Indians continue South Atlantic Conference play on Tuesday night, as they travel to face league leaders Wingate. The match in Cuddy Arena is slated to start at 7 p.m.
