CENTRAL, S.C. � Jamie Foster-Mann hit .583 and had 15 kills in her ninth double-digit kill match of the season while Katie Stone notched eight kills and six service aces as Newberry swept Limestone 3-0 in the teams� regular season finale at Southern Wesleyan. Kristin Pulone and Cara Coleman each had seven block assists as the Indians outblocked the Saints, 10-1. Game scores were 30-21, 30-27 and 30-25.

Newberry (13-16, 5-9 South Atlantic) recorded 14 service aces and only nine service errors as the Indians topped the Saints for the second time in as many tries this season. Newberry edged Limestone 3-2 on Aug. 27 at Greenwood, S.C. Samantha Flannery and Lynn Milam led Limestone (15-16, 8-11 Carolinas-Virginia Athletic) with nine kills apiece.

Newberry rolled to a 30-21 game one victory behind Foster-Mann�s five kills and Stone�s three aces in the game. Pulone and Coleman teamed up for three block assists while Pulone led Newberry defensively with five digs. Flannery and Milam led Limestone with three kills each. Newberry hit. 281 to Limestone�s .026 in the game as Newberry led the entire game.

The Indians were outhit .179 to .156 in game two but still recorded the 30-27 victory as Foster-Mann notched seven kills and two blocks. Jessica Lipsi served up two of the Indians� four aces in the game while Katie Stone recorded six digs for Newberry. Flannery, Milam and Meredith Overton led the Saints with three kills each.

Katie Stone began game three with a kill and ended it with a service ace as Newberry sealed the match sweep with a 30-25 victory. Stone led Newberry with five kills and three aces in the match. Coleman and Pulone teamed up for another three blocks as Newberry recorded four blocks to Limestone�s zero. Flannery, Milam and Overton led Limestone with three kills in the game.

The 3-0 sweep closes out Newberry�s regular season. The Indians next travel to Hickory, N.C. for the 2005 Food Lion South Atlantic Conference volleyball tournament, hosted by Lenoir-Rhyne College. Pairings for the tournament will be announced by Monday.
