GAFFNEY, S.C. - Newberry College defeated Limestone College in wrestling Tuesday night by a final score of 22-15 at Timken Gym.

Newberry took the first three matches before Zach Gibson got the Saints on the board with a 7-0 decision in the 149 lb. weight class.  The Indians had already wrapped up the victory with four straight decisions to open a 3-22 lead before giving Limestone the last two matches by forfeit.

"I'm very proud of the way the kids performed tonight," Newberry head coach Jason Valek commented.  "They represented Newberry College very well tonight.  We're thankful for the fan support we had."
