Haley Sullick joins the Newberry College Acrobatics & Tumbling program as a Graduate Assistant Coach, bringing a strong background as both a collegiate student-athlete and experienced gymnastics and tumbling coach.
A native of Mountain Top, Pennsylvania, Sullick arrives at Newberry after a successful four-year career with the Acrobatics & Tumbling team at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. During her collegiate career, she competed in a variety of roles, beginning as a top and tumbler before transitioning into a utility position that included top, base, and tumbler responsibilities during her final two seasons.
While at Kutztown, Sullick helped the Golden Bears achieve several program milestones, including earning the program's first-ever victory over a nationally ranked opponent with a win against No. 15 West Liberty during her freshman season. She also contributed to back-to-back Mountain East Conference Championship semifinal appearances in 2025 and 2026 while Kutztown competed as an associate member of the conference.
In addition to her experience as a student-athlete, Sullick has built an impressive coaching résumé. She coached competitive Level 4-8 gymnastics at Northeast Gymnastics Academy in Hanover, Pennsylvania, from 2018 to 2024 and continues to coach competitive cheer tumbling at Master Athletic Elite in Luzerne, Pennsylvania, during school breaks. Her commitment to athlete development and safety was further recognized when she was selected for the 2026 NCATA 3P Program, an initiative designed to prepare future Acrobatics & Tumbling coaches through specialized training in skill progression and safety.
Sullick earned her bachelor's degree in Sport Management from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, where she received the department's Outstanding Intern Award for her work with Pocono Raceway during the 2025 season. She returned to Pocono Raceway in 2026 before beginning her graduate studies. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in Sport Management and Leadership at Newberry College.
"I am super excited to be joining the Newberry College family and to coach alongside Coach Howell," said Sullick. "A&T means so much to me, and I cannot wait to share my love of the sport with these girls and to help grow this program!"
