Newberry College Athletics

Emmanuel Miles is in his first season as an assistant coach with the Newberry College men’s basketball program. Miles brings experience at the collegiate level as a coach, graduate assistant, student manager, and former student-athlete. Before joining Newberry, he served as an assistant coach at Tallahassee State College, where he helped lead the program to a Panhandle Conference Regular Season Championship. He also spent two seasons as a graduate assistant and three seasons as the head student manager at UNC Greensboro. As a student-athlete at Columbia International University, Miles was named to the conference All-Defensive Team. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications and a master’s degree in Peace and Conflict from UNC Greensboro.
