Personal
While at Spring Valley High School, Cruz lettered in soccer three years. She was voted team captain, best defensive player, and MVP her senior year. 

In her free time she enjoys playing the piano and reading poetry. Her favorite movie is The Shack and her favorite tv show is La Reina Del Flow. Her father is her role model. Her favorite musician/band is J Cole and Bruno Mars. Her best athletic moment was being named tournament MVP her senior year of high school. Her favorite athlete is Hope Solo. She is the daughter of Raul and Angela Cruz.
