Played in 43 games her freshman season... Recorded a .278 batting average, collecting 10 RBIs and 19 runs scored... Swiped seven stolen bases... Went 4-for-4 with three RBIs and a triple against UNC Pembroke in game two (3/9).

Prior to Newberry
She was named to the all-region softball team for three seasons... Collected the Rebel Award and Silver Slugger for softball and the defensive award in basketball for two seasons... Caldwell received the Wendy’s Heisman Award and named a SCHSL Scholar Athlete... She was named valedictorian and an AP Scholar... Caldwell was named a George Sink Scholar Athlete three times in softball and basketball and twice in volleyball.
