Played in 31 games... Recorded 18 hits, 14 runs and nine RBIs... Collected five walks and eight stolen bases... Posted a .299 on-base percentage... Went 2-for-2 with two RBIs and two runs scored in game two against Benedict (2/19).

2016
Played in 46 games.... Recorded 30 hits, 20 runs and 11 RBIs... Posted a .271 on-base percentage... Stole eight bases and collected six walks... Went 2-for-3 with a double, two RBIs and a run scored in game one against Emmanuel in game one (2/9)... Went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored in game two against Emmanuel (2/9). 

Prior to Newberry
Sweeney went to West Balden HS where she played under coach Pam Stephens… earned 2-A All District, All-Conference, All-State and best offensive player for softball… also earned All-Conference for volleyball
