She was a four year letter winner and a NFCA All-American Scholar Athlete... Herrera was also named 4A all-region in 2016 and team MVP... In 2015, High School Sports Report named Herrera an all-state selection... She also won the Bengal Award that same year... In the classroom, she was a member of the National Honor Society, National Art Honor Society and named Honorable Mention at the Scholastic Art Competition.
