As a freshman, started in 17 of 18 appearances made...recorded 22 shots, 10 on goal...scored her lone goal of the season in the nonconference matchup against Albany State, also was the game winner...recorded up two assists.

Personal
Velazquez is a recent graduate of West Hills High School in El Cajon,CA. She was a member of the Albion SC Academy club team. During her high school school she was apart of the cross country and soccer team. She received many honors during her highs school career including:

In her free time she enjoys playing soccer and going to the beach. Her favorite movie is Dear John and her favorite musician is Khelani. Her favorite athletic moment was building up the field from center defender resulting in the assist to the game-winning goal. Her favorite athletes are Gareth Bale and Alex Morgan. She enjoys the delicious taste of In-n-Out Animal Fries .Velazquez one day aspires to be a physical therapist with a sports team. She is the Daughter of Felipe Velazquez.
