Dear Fellow Athletic Trainer:
Welcome to Newberry College, in Newberry South Carolina. While you and your teams are on our campus, the athletic training clinic and all of our equipment will be made accessible to you. A certified athletic trainer will be available for all home varsity events.  The MacLean athletic training room is located in the MacLean Gym on the lower level. The Melvin and Dolly Younts Athletic Performance Center houses a second athletic training room and is located at the north end of Setzler Field. The athletic training clinics will be open prior to home events but please contact the athletic trainer to schedule a time and athletic training room for your team. If you are traveling the day before a game, please let us know, and we can make arrangements to meet your needs.


If your teams are traveling without a certified athletic trainer please notify us as soon as possible, so we may be prepared to accommodate their needs. We will require a letter or prescription from a Certified Athletic Trainer or Team Physician for any and all athletic training services that will be needed.  This includes but is not limited to taping, bracing, modality use, etc. Our full-time staff provided by Prisma Health Orthopedics, Dr. Wendell Holmes and Dr. Frank Noojin look forward to working with you.

Newberry College Athletic Training will provide:

• Water and cups
• Cooler of ice, bags, flexi-wrap
• Emergency equipment (i.e. splints/crutches/AED) will be on the home sideline.
• Supplies for blood management
