Biography
Mateo Bivol was born in Bordeaux, France where he started to play tennis at age of 4. He began his competitive career at the age of 8, and he was ranked in the top 50 nationally each year from U8 to U14. He played competitions in 10 different countries on the Tennis Europe Junior Tour from U12 to U16. His best ranking was 297 in U16. He achieved his best performance in Bucharest, Romania in the grade one U14 tournament where he went up to the quarter-finals and received the fair play award. Mateo also enjoys playing doubles and reached the semi-finals in Azores. Mateo boasts a current UTR rating of 11.24.
