SALISBURY, N.C. — Behind a top-15 individual finish from Chloe Tanner, the Newberry College women's golf team tied for fourth at the Patsy Rendleman Invitational, hosted by Catawba College at the Country Club of Salisbury on March 23–24.
The Wolves finished with a three-round total of 120-over par (332-319-333), tying University of South Carolina Beaufort in the nine-team field. Newberry's second-round 319 marked its lowest round of the tournament, fueling a 13-stroke improvement from round one and a climb up the leaderboard. Tanner paced the Wolves with a tie for 12th-place finish at 22-over par (81-78-76), closing with a final-round 76 to match the team's low round of the tournament.

Anais Oelius placed tied for 32nd at 37-over (85-77-88), while Ashton Moseley finished tied for 46th at 45-over (91-84-83) and improved her score each round. Rushna Ali rounded out the lineup in 50th at 49-over (82-91-89). Newberry's second-round surge proved pivotal in securing a top-five finish against a competitive Division II field.
