The Newberry College women's soccer team looks to build on Saturday's 2-0 exhibiton game victory at Erskine.

Senior Sydney Guesewelle and sophomore Sam Tucker scored goals while the quartet of sophomore Abigail Bernal, freshman Kianna Burgos and juniors Sayra Gamboa and Madison Gutierrez combined on the shutout.

The Wolves open the season at home Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. at Smith Road Complex against Converse.
