The Newberry College women's field hockey team landed 19 student-athletes on the National Field Hockey Coaches Association 2024 Division II National Academic Squad, the second highest total in the country.

Sponsored by OPA Winning Teams, the NFHCA National Academic Squad program honors student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher through the fall semester, nominated by their NFHCA member coaches.

Seniors Tamsin Bangert, Kaylee Bisset, Stembile Chikoore, Kyla Cooke and Katie Shepherd were named to the team for a fourth consecutive year.
