NEWBERRY, SC - The Newberry College women's wrestling team fell 24-10 to King University in their latest matchup.

Newberry picked up 10 team points from forfeits, with Dara Lin (145 lbs.) and Avianna Velarde (207 lbs.) earning automatic wins.

Emely Mejia-Martinez (124 lbs.) fought hard but dropped a 10-0 technical fall against Clare Booe.

The Wolves will look to bounce back in their next competition on February 14th at 6pm against Emory & Henry and Allen at Allen.
