COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Newberry College proudly announces that Parker Keeler, junior forward from Newberry College, has been selected as the NFHCA Division II Atlantic Regional Player of the Year by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA). This prestigious honor recognizes her as one of the top collegiate field hockey players in the nation and places her in contention for the NFHCA Division II National Player of the Year award.
Keeler, a Bridgeville, Delaware native, delivered an outstanding 2025 campaign, earning selection to the NFHCA All-Region Atlantic First Team, being voted South Atlantic Conference Offensive Player of the Year, and securing a spot on the All-SAC First Team. She finished the season first nationally in assists and total points and third in goals, underscoring her status as one of Division II's most productive and dynamic offensive players.
Throughout the year, Keeler recorded points in 15 of 18 games, including eight multi-point performances, fueling a Newberry attack that led Division II in scoring. Her consistency and offensive firepower played a key role in guiding the Wolves to the South Atlantic Conference championship and an appearance in the NCAA National Final.
The NFHCA Division II Regional Player of the Year award is among the organization's top postseason honors. The NFHCA All-Region teams were announced earlier this month, and the NFHCA Division II All-American teams, along with the National Player of the Year, will be unveiled later in December.
