RECAP: Women's field hockey played against their second match of the season Sunday ( September 8) versus Adelphi. The Wolves took the win in a closely fought battle against the Panthers ending the score 4-3. During the first half of the game the Wolves were able to scored two points while Panthers score one point. Then second half the Wolves scored two more points while Adelphi also scored two points.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- Ali Nagy from Adelphi scored the first goal of game in the first 10 minutes. She was assisted by her teammates Amanda Lee and Jillian Richie.
- Emma Westbrook scored the first goal for the Wolves following by her teammates Tamsin Bangert and Lieke Varenkamp.
- The Wolves defense held Adelphi to total of 10 shots throughout the game.
