RECAP: Newberry Wolves men's soccer team loses their season opener 4-1 to the Embry-Riddle Eagles on Thursday, September 5th. Embry-Riddle tallied two goals in each half with Newberry adding one in the second half.

• Early in the second half, Embry-Riddle continued to add to the scoreboard with a goal in 56' by Kaden Stoddard assisted by Yali Shiray.

• Newberry scored their first goal of the season in the 71' from Harry McDonnell.

• Closing out the game in the 80', Fabrien Hilpert completed his hat trick with another goal, assisted by Sandro Henning.
