The Wolves women's soccer team is looking to start 4-0 for the first time in school history when they host Mars Hill in the South Atlantic Conference opener Saturday afternoon at Smith Road Complex.

About the Wolves:  The goaltending tandem of sophomores Aubrey Cripe and Sarah Waller have combined to not allow a goal in three matches this season.
Bella Gonzales and Becca Lipp each have two goals, Emily Castaneda has three assists while Kirsty Cameron, Lillian Miller and Isabella Tellez have all scored a goal apiece through three matches.
Lipp, Castaneda and Sydney Gusewelle, all starting defenders, have all logged over 220 minutes through three matches.

Series:  Newberry won last year's match 2-0 in North Carolina scoring a goal in each half.  The Wolves have won 10 consecutive meetings against the Lions, including eight straight at home and lead the overall series 18-10.  Mars Hill has not beaten Newberry since October 12, 2012.
